Re-Enactment Directory - Napoleonic and 19th Century re-enactment
Here at Clash of Steel, we strongly support the work of Re-enactors and Living History enthusiasts bringing life to history, learning what it might have been like to live as they did, and encouraging others to remember the past.
If you would like to suggest a group, send us the details. We'd love to hear about it.

Their aim is to portray the 2/95th as they would have been whilst on active service primarily during the Peninsular War (1808-1814) and the Waterloo Campaign of 1815. All uniforms and equipment are based on existing original examples and from the uniform regulations of the time. Even their drill and tactics are taken from Rifle Drill Manuals of 1803 and 1807.

They are a living history group with varying ages and sex's portraying the day to day life of the 79th Cameron highlanders, during the Peninsular wars and the battle of Waterloo. They try to recreate as authentically as possible the everyday life for the soldiers and their families within the regiment, using costume, muskets, drums and food cooked to authentic recipes.

A group organised by (ex)service personel, less concerned with things looking 'perfect', and more concerned with offering a friendly, hard working, enjoyable re-enactment and airsoft group. We do not specifically 'fit' into role playing a specific regiment, but can be BCR's or re-enforcements for existing groups.
Benifits of joining MYLM:
Fitness training (gradual)
Tactics and drill training
Subsidised and affordable Napoleonic uniforms
Fun events, good social scene
Trips to battlefields/places of historical significance
