Re-Enactment Directory - 18th Century re-enactment
Here at Clash of Steel, we strongly support the work of Re-enactors and Living History enthusiasts bringing life to history, learning what it might have been like to live as they did, and encouraging others to remember the past.
If you would like to suggest a group, send us the details. We'd love to hear about it.
The unit portrays a centre company of the 47th foot in the early years of the war as it would of appeared as part of the Boston garrison.
They are a family group that specialises in living history displays but organise their own events with other revolutionary war units both in the UK and over seas and also take part in multi period events all over the UK.

The Alan Breck's are named after the character made famous in the book Kidnapped, who changed sides at the Battle of Prestonpans in 1745. Founded to support the work of the Battle of Prestonpans Heritage Trust, this growing group portrays soldiers of both sides of the Rising.

We are a small group of 18th century enthusiasts who have been running for a little over ten years. We deal with the lowlife element of civil society, Highwaymen, Footpads, etc. We can be seen regularly around the Nottingham area Sherwood forest, Bestwood Park talking to people and setting up small living history camps.

We are a "fur trade" era reneactment group formed in August 2011. We have come a long way in a short while and have over twenty-five members and we are affiliated to the Native American section of the Lone Star Western reenactment Society. We cover the period from 1760 to 1860 and have our first rendezvous at Easter at the Ponderosa, Evesham. Anyone interested can visit our web site at www.thebuckskinners.lefora.com We aim to be a authentic and fun group and welcome all those with a genuine interest in this time period of US history. We study the guns & gear as well as everyday life back in the Old, Old West.
