Web site : www.the79thcameronhighlanders.co.uk
A Napoleonic re-enactment group biased in Kent,UK.
They are a living history group with varying ages and sex's portraying the day to day life of the 79th Cameron highlanders, during the Peninsular wars and the battle of Waterloo. They try to recreate as authentically as possible the everyday life for the soldiers and their families within the regiment, using costume, muskets, drums and food cooked to authentic recipes.
The regiment meets regularly at Fort Amherst, Chatham, Kent, one of the best preserved Napoleonic fortresses in Britain.
If you are interested in joining this group, or would like to enquire whether they're available for an event, please contact them directly. Clash of Steel currently doesn't act as an agent for any groups, we're just keen to promote and support them.
