Web site : www.sadfgroup.org
The Border War lasted from 1966 until 1989, a total of 23 years, making it one of Africa's longest conflicts. Border War was fought in Northern Namibia (former South West Africa), and in Southern Angola - the "Operational Area" or "Border". Sporadic and related skirmishes against Anti-SADF forces throughout the sub-continent in places such as SW Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe (former Rhodesia), Lesotho, Swaziland, former Homelands within the current South Africa; and South Africa itself. This UK-based group is non-political and recreates troops from the period.
If you are interested in joining this group, or would like to enquire whether they're available for an event, please contact them directly. Clash of Steel currently doesn't act as an agent for any groups, we're just keen to promote and support them.
