Summary
After his repulse at Hoyerswerda von Bülow withdrew into a strong position at Luckau. Oudinot did not pursue the Russo-Prussians for nearly a week which gave them time to prepare. Oudinot was soundly beaten and he pulled back southwest to Ubigau about 25 miles away. An armistice was signed as this battle was being fought.
