Summary
This was the only action of note in Italy during 1795. In addition to their heavy loss in men the Coalition suffered the loss of 48 guns. Both sides then withdrew from the mountainous areas for the winter.

A town on the Gulf of Genoa about 19 miles southwestwards along the coast from Savona.
