Summary
The English laying seige to Berwick were posted on Halidon Hill. Alexander Douglas leading the Scots attacked the English in an attempt to raised the seige. The awful terrain and the accuracy of the English archers lead to a blood bath. The routed Scots were pursued until nightfall.
