Summary
Oudinot, commanding two corps was moving on Berlin until his advanced troops [VII Corps under Reynier] ran into the Swedish Corps [Count Stedingk] and the Prussian III Corps [Bülow] About three miles away to the east a further French corps, IV Corps, under Bertrand hit the Prussians IV Corps [Tauentzien]
Although it was a fairly minor defeat it persuaded Oudinot to order a general withdrawal.
