Summary
The town was blockaded on three sides on the 13th and the fourth side was closed by Prince Eugene's arrival on the 18th. The trenches were opened on the 23rd and 90 guns were brought into use against the defences. The French Governor, Lamotte, surrendered on the 30th December.
