Summary
Another very weak defence of an important fortress. There were very few killed and wounded on both sides. The Dutch commander was 82 years old, Dutch morale was very low and desertions were many. At the surrender there were only 365 men still in arms.

A fortress in Holland on the south side of the Maas/Waal estuary about 19 miles west of 's-Hertogenbosch. (Holland)
