Summary
While Marshall Massena lead the French thrust into Switzerland General Oudinot lead another force into Austria. The numerically superior, more experienced better disciplined French troops easily defeated the Austrians of whom nearly 1,000 were captured.

A small town in western Austria about 20 miles south of the Bodensee 95 miles west of Innsbruck.
