Summary
While Davout's corps [III] continued to hold against the superior numbers of the Austrian right wing and Lefebvre's corps [VII] held the Austrian left wing Napoleon sent Lannes provisional corps through the very weakly held centre.
The Austrian army was hopelessly split with half the army retreating north east and half moving south east. Between three and four thousand Austrians were captured.
