Summary
Two towns about 12 miles apart which were attacked and taken on the same day under the same overall commander, General Major Nugent. Although outnumbered the Austrians were successful in both locations. We have no record of the casualties of either side but the Austrians took over five hundred prisoners and reported their own casualties as light.
Location
Two town in northeastern Italy. Cervia, a port on the Adriatic coast about 19 miles southeast of Ravenna. Forli is about 12 miles west of Cervia (Italy)
