Summary
The British suffered few losses in the course of the siege and the French capitulated on terms. All French troops and civilians [about 8,000 in all] were returned to France in British ships. All cannon and six French warships in the harbour were surrendered to the British. This was the end of Napoleon's Egyptian Campaign.
