Summary
The purely infantry Neapolitan force were engaged by amixed Austrian force of equal number. The Neapolitan figures for killed and wounded are not known but 206 were captured. Austrian Hussars broke the square of the 10th Line Infantry Regiment and scattered them. The Neapolitans withdrew to the southwest.
