Summary
Moore's retreat on Coruña was being ably screened by his cavalry. In many minor actions the pursuing French cavalry came off much the worse. In this action General Lefebvre commanding the Chasseurs à Cheval of the Imperial Guard was captured by Trooper Grisdale of the 10th Hussars.
