Summary
The Archduke Charles organized a most successful rearguard action against the pursuing French. All Austrians were Hussars [16 Squadrons] and the French had 32 Squadrons of Cavalry and one btn. Infantry. Losses were heavier on the French side and the pursuit was halted for a while. The Austrians continued their withdrawal.
