Tsushima
Summary
The Russian Baltic fleet sailed most of the way round the world, to confront the Japanese fleet in the East China Sea. While numerically even, the Japanese ships were more modern, faster better gunned and crewed and were not at the end of a epic voyage. The result was complete disaster for the Russians and of 45 ships, all but 12 were sunk, captured or grounded while Japanese losses were 3 torpedo boats.
