Summary
An important French convoy carrying ammunition, 100 wagons, and bread, 125 wagons and acting as escort to five Generals was caught by a Russian force commanded by the Tsar. The National Guard troops fought bravely, half their number were killed, before surrendering. Russian losses are not known.
