Summary
Wrede, after his defeat at Wonau, tried to make another stand at Stecken. The Austrians attacked and again Wrede was forced to withdraw southwards. He was spared further embarassment as the news of the French-Austrian Armistice came through.

A village in the centre of Bohemia [now Czech Republic] about 6 miles south of Deutschbrod. About 60 miles west of Austerlitz. (Czech Republic)
