Summary
The Redoubt was being held by 200 Spaniards. The French attack was successful and all of the Spanirds were taken. A counter attack by 2,000 Spanish troops was not successful. Wellington ordered that no more attempts were to be made to take the place, it was simply to be by passed.

A redoubt in the Pyrenees about 10 miles inland from the Biscayan coast on the Frenc side of the Franco-Spanish border. (France)
