Summary
The French under Augereau pushing on from the eastern end of the Pyrenees were met by a much larger Coalition army. Unfortunately at least 6,000 of the Coalition troops were raw local levies who were more of a hinderance than help.

A Spanish hamlet a few miles from the Franco-Spanish border at the eastern end of the Pyrenees about 10 miles northwest of Figueres. (Spain)
