Summary
Bellegarde was commanding the Allied rearguard while Suvorov was defeating Macdonald. Moreau moved his French troops to launch a two pronged attack on the Allies [Bellegarde]. Austrian cavalry eventually halted the French frontal assault flank attacks by Moreau's reserves eventually forced Austrians to retreat. When Suvorov moved to aid Bellegarde Moreau fell back towards Genoa.
