Summary
Precise losses are not known but they are reported as 'considerable' on the Franco-Italian side and 'light' on the Austro-Neapolitan side. The Neapolitans, under Joachim Murat, King of Naples, had at last joined the fight probably because he had heard of Napoleon's defeats in the north of France. The Franco-Italians were pursued but action was broken off the next day when news of napoleon's abdication came through.
Location
A southern tributary of the river Po about 7 miles west of Parma, northern Italy. (Italy)
