XV. The 14th Division finally managed to drive the Germans out of Edge Trench which left the whole of Delville Wood in British hands.
Anzac Corps. Troops of the 4th Australian Division were again unsuccessful in their attempts to take yesterdays objectives i.e. strong points in Zig-Zag Trench and at the junction of Thiepval road and the Mouquet Farm track.
II Corps. The 48th Division attacked Constance Trench. They were hit by their own artillery barrage and split to their flanks. A strong counter-attack drove them out of all their gains.
