III Corps. The 1st Division continued its attempts to take Intermediate Trench. They held what they had and made a small gain.
Anzac Corps. Troops of the 2nd Australian Division swept forward and initially gained considerable ground. Misalignment of part of their force put them in an impossible situation and they were forced to surrender. Strong points were won and lost. They managed to hold onto a strong point in the middle of Zig-Zag Trench.
II Corps. The 25th Division were unsuccessful in their attempts to complete their occupation of Hindenburg Trench.
