A day of consolidation of yesterday's gains.

XV Corps. The 14th Division [ 9th Rifle Brigade] established strong points along the damaged Beer Trench and pushed out saps towards the enemy line.
III Corps. Troops of the 1st Division occupied an undefened stretch of Switch Line. At night a battle station was dug 200yds nearer the Germans.
