Summary
A very successful amphibious operation where troops of the Army of Catalonia were supported by frigates of the Royal Navy. The Allied commander, Captain-General O'Donnell was wounded and the Franco German commander, Brigadier Schwartz, was captured along with 1242 of his men and 18 guns.
