Summary
The Bruswickers had moved almost 40 miles nearer to the coast since their last battle [Halberstadt]. This attempt to stop them was equally unsuccessful. Although Westfalian losses are not recorded they are thought to be light on casualties but heavy in desertions, many to the Brunswick cause.

Was a fortified town but is now a suburb to the northwest of Braunschweig, north Germany. (Germany)
