Summary
Field Marshal Rovéréa commanding the 'Rovéréa Legion' had defeated a French unit and taken 150 prisoners on the 28th May. He ignored Austrian advice to pull out of the Muottental area. Lecourbe commanding the 3rd Division of the Army of the Danube launched a swift strong successful counter attack.
