Summary
A very tiny, seemingly worthless engagement, between a company of Tyrolean Landesschützen [Militia] and a company of the newly raised Reserve Division of Eugène's Army of Italy . The effect was out of all proportion because it caused the Franco-Italians to fall back 90 miles across easily defended terrain. Prince Eugène sacked Bonfanti, the commander of the division.
