Summary

Well away from the Danube front the Austrians closed upon Warsaw which was defended by Polish and Saxon troops. The battle hardened Austrians soon gained the victory with the Poles withdrawing into Warsaw and the Saxons returning to Saxony.

A village [now called Pruszkow] in Poland about 6 miles southwest of Warsaw. (Poland)
